CHRISTINE
					CHRIS

To start off this poem I want to introduce Chris.

To know Chris first you need to understand Chris.

She is:
C - caring
H - honest
R – ridiculous/ relentless
I - inspirational/ insightful
S – special (unique, one of a kind) (sarcastic)

Now for the poem.

The only color she see
Is purple, her favorite color that happens to be.

No she is not color blind,
She just loves the shade and shine.

Now lets really look within,
She thinks a person should be judged on more than their skin.

She Said she would end the pandemic,
And tell people to stop shooting each other real quick.

She wants the diabetes to just go away,
She wants to weigh less one day.

At the age of 3 Canada is the place she would go,
The border guard asked if her doll was a citizen and she replied I don’t know.

Adding to her charm,
As a kid she played with pigs at the farm.

Playing piano, violin and music is her get away in life,
Because in her music there is no pain and strife.

Her grandfathers violin is covered In dust like an old toy,
But it still remains a joy.

For no reason purple is her favorite color,
Then she added blue and said ok there is no other.

If she was the last person in this world,
She would play with the animals nothing violent so maybe just a bird or a squirrel.

She is inspired by Pastors, music directors and health care workers,
they are not deserters.
Even at her church there is a young man,
Full of goals and ambitions seems like he has a plan.

After an argument she said she goes to her room to cry,
As strong as she is I think that’s a lie.

I can see her go for a hike or walk,
Maybe to God she will talk
Or just step in silence
But never giving into violence.

A diabetic coma is a fear,
But with medicine and God she knows that is it near.

Travel to the Holy land, Jordan and Petra is her destination,
She would leave today with no hesitation.

Least favorite memory is grandparents leaving this world,
Favorite memory is playing with pigs as a little girl.

Wants to take out violin and remove the dust,
Before her skills begin to rust.
For animals she wants a healing touch,
To her this would mean so much.
Acupuncture for animals with no needles and stress,
To her this would be best.
Gardening and planting seeds,
Truly This is all she needs.

To discover new things she reads, talks and listens to BBC,
The best way to learn is openly.

Avoids people that are confrontational,
To me that is educational.

Staying up late at night,
to her that is a fright,
taking the medication takes all her might.

Elton John and how he dresses,
To her he really impresses.
Dave Brubeck the rhythm of his songs,
Brings peace all day long.
Tony Benoit with his mellow voice,
That’s it there is no other choice.

Now that you have see Chris through my eyes,
Say hello you will get a big surprise.
