To not break familiarity
In fear of tearing a translucent reality.
Hostage in the radiance of blind intellect.
We see. Judge. Reflect.
An audible boundary
An urban clock
Tick
Toc
Tick
An order, in form of notification: stay there. Sit.
So we type with thumbs: obey and fit.
Fragmented freedom. Opportunity fled.
A peaceful crime scene painted vivid red.
An audible boundary
An urban clock
Tick
Toc
Tick
But lift the fabric of our nursery comprehension
Fathom a lone boy, who wanders, purposefully.
Through desolated streets,
In devastating heats.
He still dreams…to rebel
Undeniably, unashamedly restless.
And whilst young stays young he shouts:
“This is living!”
To ignore boundaries. To break the clock
A new generation
Tick
Toc
Tick
