A peaceful glimmer
Of memories
A streak of color
An image of peace

She’s a gleaming star
A piece of art
Creating beauty
With a loving heart

In her tender hands
And her open mind
She carries you
Won’t leave you behind

Up in the sky
Even after a dark night
She won’t go out
She’s still shining bright

She’ll be radiant tomorrow
She was bright yesterday
But most importantly
She’s living today
