I turn to nature and begin to see new.
The wind blows the clutter from my mind.
The stream cleanses me from worry and loss.
The soil gives me new foundation, and the sun provides me growth.

How can this be?
It makes no sense at all.
I feel roots take hold of the earth.
Changing, morphing, reaching up, growing stronger.
I draw from the earth, my branches reaching out.
Through cities, towns, countries, and cultures.

I am unnoticed, blending into the forest, but the fruit of my branches is there for all to see.
Providing for children and families.
Sustaining, nourishing, healing, and producing new seeds.
