Blur Breathe Be
Lucy

Relentless running
to capture what can’t be captured,
movement blurred
animated by inspiration

Inspire - breathe in
the sound of a snuffly whiskered nose
the rhythm of feet on pavement
mossy sticks transformed into cities
cold ice cream on the tongue

Breathe out
sister with sisters
absorbing and giving,
cared for caring for,
feeding being fed

Round the block, the court, the heart
rooting and rhythm
still yet moving,
absorbing and giving,
reaching in, flowing out

This matters to me: you matter
turquoise expanse floating to freedom
planting gardens in parking lots
