Blue
				is the color of sky
				the Indian ocean.
			It looks good on me
but I’m not vain, I’m Canadian.
			Alone
				on an island
				my faith is less robust.
Sometimes I’m beige and sometimes I’m blue.
				I temper myself
				so as not to overwhelm
unless injustice bullets the blue sky.
			Joy lives
				in seeing others succeed
				in books and ideas
				in talking and laughing
in Jesus embedded in stained blue glass.
