the waves crash as in their nature
and I drift watching from under
blue hills forming and exploding
a battle repeating with little conclusion

the waves submerge
my whole body
their blue cloaking the sun
and the open sky and air

moving up
the waves yield to my arms
the current lulls under my splash
and the harmony of the waves dies
as I wipe the salt from my eyes
